For one of my clients, I'm currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer in The Hague. This company works the aviation industry developing high-end technology.

As part of your daily tasks, you will be responsible for:

• Designing, constructing, and maintaining efficient, reusable, and dependable C++ code.
• Identifying bottlenecks and bugs within the codebase and devising effective solutions to address these issues.
• Assisting in maintaining the overall code quality, organization, and automation processes.
• Collaborating with other departments to address technical challenges, including software system design and maintenance.
• Analyzing information and providing recommendations for installing new systems or making modifications to existing ones.
• Consulting with engineering staff to assess software hardware interfaces, and developing specifications and performance requirements accordingly.
• Communicating with the Product Owner to gain insights into limitations or capabilities related to software development.
• Providing guidance and direction for system testing and validation procedures.
• Offering direction for software programming and facilitating the development of comprehensive documentation.

Requirements for the position include:

• between 3-5 years of relevant working experience on C++, Linux.
• BsC or MCs in Computer Science, Software engineering etc.
• Unit Test knowledge
• Real Time env.
• Knowledge of SQL, JSON, XML, and some familiarity with JavaScript/Typescript.
• Understanding of Embedded systems design and low-level hardware interactions.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
